A career with us gives you the freedom to work across departments and disciplines, with plenty of opportunities for growth both technically and personally. The choice is yours.

Electrical engineering jobs at ASML

We develop some of the world’s most high-tech machines. So, there is a constant need to adapt, improve and educate yourself at ASML to keep pace with performance demands and the resulting complexity of our systems. You will not only get the opportunity to produce the next generation of electronic components, you will also get a dynamic and exciting career path, and one that will make a real impact at our industry-leading organization.

  • Design state-of-the-art electronics across disciplines

At ASML, our electrical engineering teams work closely together with other disciplines and departments. You will act as a bridge between our multiple mechanics, software, and hardware departments. In many cases, the electronics domain fulfils an interfacing function between the software and physics domain. Such multidisciplinary work will expand your skill set and give you the option to evolve with our global organization across different departments and areas of expertise. No two days are the same.

  • Work on highly complex and high-tech problems

At ASML, you get ownership on a wide range of highly unique and complex electrical engineering projects. For example, our power amplifiers need to operate at high power, high accuracy, high bandwidth, and high reliability. To meet the requirements of the product roadmap, they also need to scale down to smaller physical volumes and the thermal design needs to be improved.

Working with state-of-the-art electronics systems of increasing complexity and decreasing volumes is no easy task. So, you’ll need excellent communication skills to collaborate across the business and a real thirst for learning to keep pace with our pioneering development environment. What’s more, we encourage grass-roots innovation, so you know your ideas will always be heard.

  • Flexible career potential in a collaborative environment

At ASML, we actively encourage our electrical engineering professionals to pursue their desired career path. You can grow both your technical and personal skills in our highly supportive work environment, where you will learn from the best in the business within our well-equipped test labs.

A substantial amount of our company’s management team has a background in electrical engineering, so you can also grow into a general management role. Or, you can choose to progress laterally and work across different electrical disciplines, building up your electrical engineering knowledge and expertise across our mono- and multi-disciplinary groups. Or, you can choose to work up our electronics development hierarchy to be responsible for the performance and composition of our top-level systems. It’s up to you.

Proud to be part of progress

At ASML we believe that technology is a force for good. It connects us, whoever and wherever we are in the world, and it changes how we live, work and play. Headquartered in Brainport Eindhoven, The Netherlands (Google Maps), ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. We make the tools for a critical manufacturing step, defining the structures that form the electrical circuits on a chip. We provide chipmakers with everything they need to mass produce patterns on silicon.

Our key technology is the lithography system, which brings together high-tech hardware and advanced software to control the chip manufacturing process down to the picometer. Delivering new functionalities, better performance and lower cost with each generation, advances in chips have spawned new products and transformed industries. All of the world's top chipmakers like Samsung, Intel and TSMC use our technology, enabling the waves of innovation that help tackle the world's toughest challenges.

We are proud of the impact our achievements have on the world around us. We are proud to be part of progress.
